Energy efficient straw bale house located in Crested Butte, CO. 

 

We installed a 1.4 kW grid-tied PV system to power minimal house energy demand as well as a plug in hybrid car!

 

The view is pretty nice up here. 

 

All finished and producing clean power!

We've had one of the biggest snowfalls recorded in the past 30 years here in Crested Butte, and it caught some folks off-guard.  Luckily we were able to help them out: (We have since reconfigured these systems so they won't need to hire shovelers anymore!)
